26 April offers a celebration of intellectual property and this year it will be the 17th World IP day – the anniversary of the day that the World Intellectual Property Organization Convention was activated in 1970.
World IP day was brought into being with the intention of helping the world to understand how intellectual property contributes to our lives. This year, we’ll explore how innovation is making our lives better – turning problems into progress. We’ll look at how the intellectual property system supports innovation.
Promote your IP Day activities through social media using the #worldipday hashtag, live event updates and Twitter chats.
